Hear where they fell short in their family communication and planning\, and how you can learn from their epic mistakes.\n\nTaking a closer look at key themes from House of Gucci\, we will consider and discuss some of the most critical issues faced by business owning families\, including: Preparing the Family for Money\, Protecting the Family Business\, and Preserving the Family Legacy.\n\nWho Should Attend: This event is designed for all women connected to a family business. Leaders\, Next Gen (both in and outside the business) as well as spouses are invited and encouraged to attend. The event will feature facilitated table conversations with peers. We aim to build community and spark authentic conversations between women in the family business.  \n\nAbout our Facilitator: Amy E. Szostak\n\nAmy E. Szostak has gained insights into how families successfully navigate sustainable intergenerational wealth. She works with families to identify their goals\, develop a common purpose\, create a framework for decision-making\, execute succession plans\, deliver financial literacy curriculum and cultivate a growing appreciation for the impact of wealth beyond the balance sheet. All of this serves to empower clients not only to successfully manage their wealth today\, but to develop the stewardship skills to flourish long into the future.\n\n\n\nAbout our Facilitator: Alison Blair Mast\n\nAlison Blair Mast is a Senior Managing Director and the President of West Michigan for Northern Trust Wealth Management.
